FAQ

Revel in the Experience

You are going to sweat. A lot. Wear clean clothes and don’t skip the deodorant.
Everyone has their baggage. If you brought yours, put it in your cubby.
Please be on time and try your best to stay for the entirety of class, because nothing ruins the vibe of a class like opening the door in the middle of it.

Revel in the Safety

Be smart about working out with an injury. Inform the instructor and ask for modifications.

Revel in the Ride

Class is a time to let go of any outside distractions – absolutely no cell phones are allowed in the Revel studio (even if you’re trying to post about how amazing it is).
If you are expecting an urgent call, leave your phone with the front desk and we will get you if needed.

Amenities

We realize that it can be difficult to fit working out into your schedule. That’s why we tried to think of everything we could to make it as easy as possible for you to get in, get a great workout, and get on with your day.

Shoes

To ensure you are able to get the best ride possible, Revel requires you to wear clip-in spin shoes. The good news is that we provide shoes to every rider at no additional charge! If you’d be more comfortable bringing your own shoes, all of our bikes are compatible with SPD and Look Delta clips.

Cubbies

We have cubbies to store your personal items during class.

Water

We mentioned that you’d be sweating a lot. As a result, we also suggest that you drink a lot of water. We have purified refilling stations and water fountains in both studios. Large bottles of water can also be purchased from the front desk for $2.50.

Other Amenities

You’ll never have to worry about forgetting something you need for class – we’ve got the essentials covered with sweat towels, hair ties, earplugs, and deodorant.

Booking a Class

Our booking window goes live on Sundays at 6PM (set those weekly reminder alarms now!!) Classes are available to be booked through the following two weeks. The online schedule will always reflect the most up to date information regarding substitutions and cancellations.

Arrival Time / Check-In

We’ve attempted to create the best of both worlds at Revel as far as check-in experience goes. If you want to go through the entire process without having to speak to a human (and really, how many of us are feeling chatty before a 5:00 am class?), simply check-in at the iPad counter and look for your shoes in the cubby below that matches your bike number. If you’re less into technology and more into human interaction, our wonderful front desk staff would be happy to assist you with anything you need (they’ll even be pleasant before sunrise – we pay them extra for that). Riders that arrive 10 minutes after class has started, will not be permitted into the class.

Waitlist

When on the waitlist for a class, riders will automatically be added if a bike opens up outside the 12 hour cancelation window. If a spot opens up inside that 12 hour window prior to class, you will receive a text or call to confirm if you want the spot. Feel free to call the studio at any time to check on your waitlist status. If there is a full class, spots will start to be released to waitlist riders that are waiting 2 minutes prior to the start of class. Scheduled riders must call to secure their bike if they are running late, or their bike may be given away.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel a class by calling the studio, going online, or through our mobile app (this one can be a bit tricky – go to Profile → Upcoming Classes, and swipe left on the class that you want to cancel to reveal the option). Rides can be cancelled without penalty up to 12 hours before the start of class.

Missing a Class

Riders who have purchased a class pack will simply lose the ride if they choose to not attend the class – there will be no additional charge. Riders with monthly memberships will be charged a $20 fee in the event of a late cancellation or no-show.
